From OAK visitors can take the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) into the city or arrange for a shuttle or ride-hailing service. Things to See and Do: - Golden Gate Bridge: The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most recognizable landmarks in San Francisco. The best time to visit San Francisco is from September to November when the weather is warm and sunny and the crowds are smaller.
