Montenegro is a small country located in the Balkans, bordered by Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, and Albania. Its stunning Adriatic coastline, rugged mountains, and picturesque medieval towns make it a popular destination for tourists. Getting There: The easiest way to get to Montenegro is by flying into Tivat or Podgorica airports, both of which have regular flights from major European cities. Things to See and Do: - Visit the historic walled city of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage site. - Take a boat trip to the stunning Blue Cave on the island of Biševo. - Hike through the Durmitor National Park, home to the deepest canyon in Europe. - See the Ostrog Monastery, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Balkans. The summer months (June to August) are the busiest, and the best time to visit if you want to enjoy the beaches and warm weather.
